Learn How to Listen to Your Intuition

Do you ever feel like you are stuck? It can almost feel like your mind is telling you one thing and your body is telling you something else. This misalignment can leave you feeling overly anxious and stuck in the current state your life is in. Your left searching for a sign of how to make the best changes in your life for yourself to feel realigned and happy again. Your intuition could be the answer you have been searching for. It can be accessed while conscious without obvious deliberation. Learn how to listen to your intuition from the steps below.

Know Your Body

When you are not feeling good in the relationship you are in, or the home you are living in, or the job you work at, your body will let you know. Some days may start out with simple demotivation for engaging in the space your body does not feel good in. If you continue to confront that space you start developing real and physical ailments from this. Such as feeling sick or incredibly tired. Learning to listen to your body will help you access your intuition. By keeping a journal, you can monitor your feelings day in and day out and when you start feeling abnormally sluggish or something that seems like a slight cold you can review what you have been writing about to see if your feelings align with any of your bodily reactions to some part of your life. You will start to notice patterns between your physical and mental health, and this will allow you to make more accurate adjustments more quickly in your own life.

Monitoring the Forces Outside of Your Body

Once you have learned to hone into your own body and begin to know it well enough you can begin to consider the exterior forces at play. There are many things in each and every person’s life that affects their emotions and way of life. Such as, who you surround yourself with, the job you go to each day, and the outings you take. Each force can create good memories in your life and some are meant to bring about change. Knowing how the forces in your life affect you allows you to regain control of yourself. Those that may not know how the outside forces affect them could allow those forces to control their thoughts and actions. Thus, possibly getting themselves stuck at a point in their life that they do not want to be in.

To really know your own outside forces is to monitor them and the emotional and physical affect you have when you engage with them. Ask yourself, do you feel good? Do you feel worse? Once you answer these questions you can make more accurate decisions in your own life.

Look to Your Past, Present, and Future for Answers

No this is not a Christmas story all over again but thinking of it like that could help you understand accessing your intuition better. Most everyone has experienced something in their childhood that can be hard to relive, and it has shaped them into who they are today. Knowing what these experiences are yourself allows you to know what role they play in your present life and can help to identify the trigger that could stem from these past traumas. Ultimately, knowing your triggers could help you know how to engage with others in the healthiest ways for yourself to be the happiest. In assessing your present life knowing where you see yourself in the future can help you understand the change you need to make now to reach where you want to be.

Listen to Your Gut

Probably one of the hardest things to do is to listen to yourself. From birth we have listened to our parents, then to our teachers, and more than likely now an employer of some sort. We have not been trained to listen to ourselves. But if you have followed the steps above you should have started writing down your emotions to be sure they align with your physical health. Then analyzing the outside forces that could be affecting your life negatively. Lastly, look at where you have come from and where you are looking to go in life. Doing this builds trust and love for yourself in a way that has made your life healthier and happier.

Now, you must trust yourself to make the tough decisions in order to better your life. Remember there is no guide when it comes to trusting your gut, but that is your intuition talking you.
